Cold weather stunned sea turtles in the shallow water of St. Joe Bay.
We were able to recover over 1500, mostly green turtles, but also Kemp's
Ridley ( the most endangered), and loggerheads, the orangish colored
ones. The first day approx. 30% died, but as recovery efforts became
more efficient, survival rates increased. Some of the big guys weighed
more than 100 lbs. Thanks much for a great boat to work out of.
