Enclosed is a picture of my completed 15 foot ice boat. The boat is well constructed just as I hoped it would be. I used the boat duck hunting this fall and it handled great. I will be taking it
out on the ice soon. That is really what I wanted the boat for. Thank you to Aimee for handling my numerous phone calls. A big thank you to Bobby and Tommy for getting my measurements correct and all the info needed to get this boat completed.
It was a pleasure doing business with you. I can’t wait to get out on the ice and show off my boat.
I took delivery of my new 2012 Diamondback Airboat this past weekend and want to say a BIG "THANK YOU" to Fran, Aimee and Bobby for getting it to me on the date promised and for the fine work they put into this boat. I took it for a test spin Sunday afternoon and I am very pleased with it's performance. Looking forward to putting it to use and hoping for a great year of duck hunting.
So far seeing and driving the boat have proven to be exactly what we were looking for. Good job Diamondback! Thanks for working with us on the last minute changes and extras. BTW, the boat trainer, Dale, was very knowledgeable, kind, and most of all effective. I feel very confident operating it, and safely. We are looking forward to using the boat on an official mission.
I am writing this letter on behalf of my father-in-law David L. Worthington (AKA Swamp Possum).
Back in 2004 he purchased an airboat from Diamondback Air Boats in Cocoa, Fl. This would be his third airboat purchase. He spent weeks researching multiple companies in the state of Florida before making his decision to go with Diamondback for the build. Although he enjoyed his previous airboats they were always lacking something, not quite 100%.
Dave and his wife Doris worked over the next week or so to complete all of the design details of the boat. They worked very closely with Fran and the Diamondback team. They decided to go with a 16’ aluminum hull powered by a GM Vortec 8.1L V8, backed by a Sirius carbon fiber prop.
As soon as the boat was completed Dave hit the water to explore the Withlacoochee River. The handling of the boat is amazing! It is well balanced with plenty of power and control. Over the years he and his wife explored many rivers and swamps across the state of Florida. After seven years of use the boat has proven to be tried & true. Finally a boat that needs nothing but gas and a driver to be complete!
Sadly on May 1, 2011 David L Worthington passed away. He lost his battle with mesothelioma. We will miss him always!
The family decided that the airboat needed a new home. I immediately contacted Fran to start the process, she was eager to help. Her mechanic went over the boat thoroughly before it was put on the market. I decided to list the boat on a free website to see what kind of response I received. The Diamondback name is highly respected and recognized across the US and in other countries! The boat sold in an amazing three days and headed to its new home in Louisiana.
I would like to thank both of you for the outstanding job on the airboat that was delivered to us today. Our Fire Chief, Larry Richard, was impressed as well as the firefighters that were present today as the boat was delivered. There is no question that the fabrication, construction and attention to fine detail are above and beyond anything I have encountered in my 40 years of airboat history. I also would like to thank Aimee and your staff for the hospitality and the time spent with us when I visited your shop last week. It was nice to finally put a face to the people that have been helping me through this process as well as the years I have been doing business with your company.

industry. But as far as I am concerned, Diamondback set the bar in the
airboat industry.
Bobby and his staff were
phenomenal at coming up with ideas from day one. What I am trying to
say is that building a boat with Diamondback is not only an experience,
but they make you feel like part of the family. The office personal,
Aimee and Brenda, were incredible in their communications with me on

outstanding customer service that we have received when dealing with an issue on our
new FWC Patrol Airboat. As you know, we received delivery of the new Diamondback
airboat sometime last year and were delighted with the boat. Unfortunately we
experienced a repeated issue with the radiator and had to come back to Diamondback
several times in order to diagnose the problem. I had the pleasure of meeting with you
about the problem and before I could get the sentence out of my mouth you said that you
would diagnose the problem and correct it. I was very impressed with your willingness to
go the extra mile in assuring that our problem was diagnosed and fixed. The boat has
been fixed and we are very well pleased with Diamondback Airboats. Thank you very
much for your time and effort and your EXCELLENT Customer Service!
This is a letter of appreciation for an excellent job done by
all to create…. “BLACK DIAMOND RUN” , our new, 14’ deckover.
Since leaving the doors of your shop, it has garnered compliments,
stares, phone calls, long chats at the boat ramp and a 1st
place trophy!
When I decided to build a boat, I went to great lengths to
research which builder to use. I spoke to seasoned veterans, researched
the internet, and finally visited several manufacturers’ facilities.
Certainly, there are very good builders in the state of Florida.
However, none matched what my wife and I encountered when we arrived at
Diamondback. The people - the facility - the obvious expertise when you
see a boat during construction and ultimately, the end product was
simply better than what we’d seen anywhere else.
“Black Diamond Run” - The paint work is great. Hull design is
the best. Rigging is flawless. Each aspect exhibits superior
craftsmanship. Furthermore, Mast Motorsports is to be commended for
providing an unbelievable power plant! The LS 550 Cyclone is as strong
as it is technologically advanced.
The first trip out revealed a bug in the fuel delivery that
caused a minor problem. I made one phone call and happened to catch
Aimee before closing up the office on Saturday. This triggered a
response that speaks volumes about your company and your people. Vinny
was on the phone to me in minutes, troubleshooting to get me back up and
running and Lawson was in route to haul it in and ensure that this (what
turned out to be minor) bug was resolved. That’s good stuff.
When Pam and I made our second research trip to the shop,
Bobby said to me, “Whoever you go with, feel free to call us for advice
– we just want you to have a safe airboat and one you’ll enjoy using”.
Enough said.

Proud owners of “Black Diamond Run”
Cold weather stunned sea turtles in the shallow water of St. Joe Bay.
We were able to recover over 1500, mostly green turtles, but also Kemp's
Ridley (the most endangered), and loggerheads, the orangish colored
ones. The first day approx. 30% died, but as recovery efforts
became more efficient, survival rates increased. Some of the big guys
weighed more than 100 lbs. Thanks much for a great boat to work out
of.
Bobby, Thanks this is my second turn key Diamondback Airboat with absolutely no issues from Diamondback, only excellent customer and top notch quality. Bobby and his team of employees continue to engineer innovative designs that makes them the World Leader for over 20 years.

In March 2010, I took
a trip to Florida to see the Broward County Airboat show and visit all
of the major airboat manufactures to research and decide on the best out
there. We flew into Ft. Lauderdale and from there drove around to all of
the manufacturers. While the others do a good job, when you walk into
Diamondback’s shop you immediately realize they do it better. The
employees at DB are all very friendly and very knowledgeable, they have
a passion for excellence in craftsmanship and Fran and Bobby hold them
to very strict, very high-standards!
The build process was a dream! We
were told the date they boats would be complete and ship; from that
point I started working with Aimee and Carlie. They are awesome! I’m
pretty sure I called at least twice a day for 2 or 3 weeks; I thought
for sure they wanted to get rid of me J…they
were so good to work with, they always called me immediately back and
did/delivered whatever it was I was requesting. Aimee took pictures and
emailed them along each step of the way….needless to say we were all
like kids on Christmas waiting to see the end result!
Since we were so far away, it was
great that they would take measurements for me, or give me the
dimensions of a specific part being manufactured, etc. The process
worked flawlessly, the boats were completed on time and all loaded onto
a semi truck for delivery. The boats showed up without a scratch and we
started the finishing touches on our end.
After the first weekend on the water,
a friend of mine said..”ok, now that it’s all said and done – what would
you change and why?” It didn’t take much thought to reply, “Nothing” I
said. I love it. And he commented, good that’s the way it should be.
We just wanted to THANK YOU for your outstanding
customer service. Scooter, Tommy, and you have been wonderful to work
with. We are very pleased we the quality of your product. You have
proved that reliability and customer service is still available. We have
been enjoying our new boat. We look forward to purchasing again in the
future.

hard to find anyone these days who cares about anything they do and is

Even if didn't know you make the best airboats just from speaking with
you, I'd buy one from you anyway. As I told you when I spoke with you on the phone, I'm not sure when I'll be able to purchase one of your boats.
I want to have a specific model and options decided on so when I have the money I don't have to waste any time looking around.
After speaking with you, I have no doubts that I will purchase my airboat or airboats from Diamondback
Airboats.

I just wanted to drop a little note to say "Thank You"
and to let you know how much we love the boat!!!! We were out on it a
couple of weeks ago & my first outing on it I could tell a major difference between
our old boat and the new one. Tyson is really pleased as well w/ the performance of it all !!!! We had a lot of people checking out the new hull and cage design this weekend over in Kissimmee and saying how nice it looked.

In December of 2004 I took delivery of my 18’ X 8’ tour boat. At the time of delivery, I like most new boat owners was very happy and excited to receive by boat. When I was shopping for an airboat company to build my boat, I shop apples for apples on everything through out the state. Your price was competitive, your boat looked great, but there was a filling of genuine customer appreciation. Before and after making my decision to buy a Diamondback Airboat I was treated very well. Over four years later I’m still treated the same as the day before I bought my boat. When I have a problem or need service everyone is very attentive and willing to help. Because of the boats quality and Diamondbacks quick service I have less than five working days lost due to break downs in my first four years. This would not have been possible without the promise and follow through of quick service when needed. Before I bought my boat you said you would get the tour boats in and out as soon as possible depending on backlog. Any company can say it, Diamondback delivered. The honest commitment to customer serves and product quality is hands down the best I’ve seen in the business. Keep up the great job, your business makes my business better.
It looks great but unfortunately we haven’t had time to take it to the
river yet. We had flash flooding here in Montgomery last Thursday
and we lost some vehicles and had some building damage so it’s been
a little crazy here. We are moving into the paint booth Monday and
will apply the graphics and as soon as we put it in the water I’ll
try and send you some photos with our officers. Thanks for all your
hard work in helping us move forward with this project and get the
grant money spent and in the field under such short notice.
Although we’ve yet to use the boat, I would recommend Diamondback
Airboat’s customer service to anyone in emergency services. You
have been great to work with.

I have owned or been around Airboats since 1997. I owned an Airboat built by another Florida manufacture until December of 2008. An unfortunate accident led to my needing to purchase a new Airboat. I called and requested quotes from several manufactures’ in Florida as well as other states. Being a past Airboat owner I had an idea of what I was looking for in a new boat. I was able to specify exactly what I wanted therefore; it was very easy for all of the quotes to be compared for price. Without a doubt the best overall quote came from Diamondback Airboats. There were other manufactures’ that told me that they were the only ones doing certain things in the Airboat industry. Diamondback not only does or can build what every other manufacture claimed, much of it was standard and at no extra cost to me. Living in the Midwest and Diamondback being in Florida was somewhat of a concern for me. I would not be able to drive there on a regular basis to see the progress of the boat being built. This was not a problem at all as it turned out. Their staff was able to send me photos almost daily as the boat was being built allowing me to see complete details. This allowed me to make any changes I wanted before the boat being delivered and me not being happy. I was quite surprised to say the least when I picked up the new boat. Not only was it just like I had ordered, Bobby and Fran the owners of Diamondback welcomed us as if they had known us forever. Their facility had state of the art equipment and they were working on future expansion and developing new business. This was what you would expect from the world class leader in the Airboat industry. I was very impressed with Diamondback and I hadn’t even driven the boat yet. Well, the boat is even better than I expected. The new hull design for 2009 is incredible. This boat handles like no other I have ever been in. It turns and drives so easy I was able to go places I would never have dreamed of before. Bobby has hit the mark with this new design and it will be the top performer for years to come.
